The PLANiTULSA Adoption Process and Calendar

Update of July 23, 2010:

  • TMAPC Adoption The Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission approved a Resolution of Adoption for PLANiTULSA, the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Tulsa, on July 6, 2010.  The Planning Commission transmitted the Comprehensive Plan to the City Council for approval on July 13, 2010.
  • Council Approval  The City Council will received the plan on July 13 at a meeting of the Council's Urban and Economic Development Committee.  According to Oklahoma state stature, the City Council has 45 days to approve the plan, in whole or part.  At their July 22 meeting, City Council unanimously approved the adopted PLANiTULSA Plan.

To date, thousands of Tulsans have shared ideas and hard work.  There are many who will want to see this Plan through to the very end and final approval.  We encourage you to stay involved.  Thanks, and keep checking the calendar.
